A Chamber of Commerce is borne into existence to give expression to the business person’s natural instincts of improving his or her market and community. Our strength lies in attracting the greatest number of firms into membership; thereby creating a pool of resources from which ideas, talents, energies, and finances can be drawn. These resources are used to solve problems of business management in this area’s marketplace.
The Chamber of Commerce enables business people to accomplish collectively what no one of them could or would do alone. We give them a voice in civic affairs and politics locally, as well as nationally, in a united effort to improve the overall well-being.
The overall objective of our organization is to assure progressive, orderly community development, effective government at all levels, and to maintain a high climate for a sound, expanding economy.
We are the conscience and will of the community... the conscience to seek out community faults and the collective will of all of our members to overcome them.
We as a whole are ultimately responsible to our membership. Our Chamber is governed by a Board of Directors. The Chairman is elected by the Board of Directors and the Board of Directors are elected from and by our membership.

Belonging to the Chamber adds to your staff. You have, in effect, “hired the Chamber” when you join. Market information, facts and figures, and data of all kinds are available to every member.
You can come to us for answers for numerous questions. We will either help you ourselves or put you in contact with someone who can.
Contacts with prospects and customers...a natural benefit from membership. We are a business organization, and when business people get together, you can bet they are doing business. Besides, you usually have an inside track on what is happening by getting our quarterly newsletter, attending various meetings, and through community involvement.
Through organized activity...such as Chamber involvement...they helped create an environment that enabled them to grow and prosper. If you are currently a small business, remember that your business has the same opportunity to grow because of a strong, aggressive Chamber.
