What can the Chamber do for me?
The Chamber is a tool to help your business grow! We are comprised of over 200 members that call Cairo and Grady County home, from multi-national corporations to local product and service storefronts that are the backbone of the community. Being a Chamber member increases credibility for your business by assuring your customers that you are an involved business, working to make Cairo and Grady County a better place to live and work. Here are some specific things we do for our members:

• Promote your business by responding to many letters and phone calls each year requesting information about residential and business opportunities in Grady County

• Cooperate with other agencies to compile useful employment and demographic data to Advertise your business through our website. Our website is currently being updated to include linking member’s web pages to the Chamber’s site. We receive many inquiries via the internet regarding Cairo and Grady County from both individuals and businesses thinking of relocating to our area.

• Coordinate several community events during the year including the Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner and Meeting, the Annual Administrative Professional’s Day Luncheon, the Antique Car Rally, the New Teacher’s Luncheon, the Annual Chamber Golf Tournament and the Cairo Christmas Parade. We also assist the Calvary Lions Club with Mule Day and the Whigham Community Club with Rattlesnake Roundup.

• Refer our members…Remember, we are a membership organization and in response to the numerous inquiries that are made to the Chamber office, our staff policy is to refer only those business and organizations that are members of the Chamber.

• All Chamber members are listed on the Chamber website’s Membership Directory page

• Chamber members enjoy the opportunity to display their brochure, flier or business card in the lobby of the Chamber office

• Your investment in the Chamber may be tax deductible as a necessary business expense

• All members receive a membership decal to identify you as a member of one of the area’s most active and progressive business organizations

• Business members of the Cairo – Grady County Chamber of Commerce may save on health insurance premiums by participating in the MemberCare Alliance of Grady County program
